Osprey HD has aligned itself with some of the best professionals in the field creating a group that understands what it takes to provide the highest production values possible. We're not re-inventing the wheel here, we're consistently using the same team of professionals that work together on a regular basis so we don't have to. We're all very experienced in our positions, we know the equipment, know each other and what to expect from each other. We own all of the equipment, from the RED camera and lenses to the wireless follow focus, teleprompter, jib, dolly, lighting & grip equipment, and work with it daily. The benefits are obvious, we eliminate typical problems that occur where the equipment and crew are all working together for the first time, essentially re-inventing the wheel for every project. We've eliminated the risks associated with getting equipment from a rental house, hoping that everything shows up and that everything works and fits the way it should. We know the equipment inside and out, and know what it takes to make everything work the way it should without any issues or surprises.
Simply put, we get it...we've got you covered.

| Lee Dashiell /Director of Photography |
With over 20 years of production experience and a background well versed in film Lee Dashiell, Osprey HD's Director of Photography prefers the RED. "I'm not biased, I just think that it makes sense, not only for the budget but for the overall quality and control of the project. When I realized that I could actually own a camera that delivered the same results you get from 35mm without the expense of the film, I was immediately onboard. I think that owning the RED has allowed me to be a better DP, I have more time with the camera to experiment and learn all of it's capabilities plus I know the camera inside and out which has me more comfortable with it than anything else. The 4K image is very hard to argue with, they're shooting feature films with this thing every day so I'm just pleased to know that I can provide it to my clients. To me, there's nothing better than shooting with the RED. "Nothing pleases me more than when a client looks at a HD monitor in disbelief, it's truly the best part of the job" says Dashiell.

| When it comes to high-end production I have found it critical that the crew function smoothly and efficiently in order to provide a quality product. This is why working with the crew of Osprey is a pleasure. Every member brings an edge to the project that is not worn down by long days or difficult scripts. I can say that each person operates at the top of their game and is always staying current with the latest techniques and trends to insure that the best possible product is delivered to the client. Whether they are working to bring the message of a political candidate to his or her constituents or demonstrate a cutting edge product, I know that I will learn something new from the wealth of knowledge and experience that is brought to the table. All aspects of a production, from hair and makeup to lighting, work to complement one another and provide a product that I have always been proud of. |
